A modern centre for language, certification and culture in Adliya — opening planned for the first quarter of 2027.

Designed by French architect Pierre Sfeir and implemented by the Ministry of Works, the project is funded by the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Alliance Française partners.

Bold yet welcoming, with open spaces and a red-and-white palette reflecting the Alliance Française identity: five classrooms, a central hall and library, a café, offices and a full auditorium.

2023 – 2025Discussions, then agreement between Bahrain and France on the new premises.
January 2026Construction works begin in Adliya.
18 June 2026Official groundbreaking ceremony.
